Harvesting Time

Yay! The little chillie has transformed into a gorgeous lady.

Ready to be harvest and to mark this special day, I took her photo for souvenir. Maybe I should use it for my aglio olio pasta? I think I should keep the seeds and try to grow more chillies. Yes, I should do that.

a lazy afternoon

Had my long await slimming session and as usual, the consultant tried to sell me more packages... $280 per session still say "very cheap", "I will give you a special price" blah... blah... blah...Then reduce to $180 per session, special promotion price? I like What? $180? Still I can't afford.

Haiz, a SAHM with no income, how to sign more packages? Pay by instalment is not a good solution and I don't wish to be in debt since I don't bring home any dough. Furthermore, I don't want my credit company to sue me bankrupt then I can never go for oversea trip "sponsor by my DH" and malu too.

I told her jokingly that my existing package with 29 sessions, valued at $348 suited me best since I already paid up and I can afford the TIME, in fact plently of it. So I don't mind seeing a slow result, I mean if it really "show". Don't have any high hope being slim but what I try to achieve here is to finish my already PAID package. I rather stick to it then coughing out another $1400+++ for 10+10+10 session. BTW, no one can guarantee that I will get back my pre pregnancy figure.

Anyway, met my DH after his work and told him about what the above conversation I had with the consultant and he was laughing away and said I can't buy you expensive slimming package but I can still buy you a decent slice of cheese cake with ice lemon tea...here it goes...

more ERP

Having to add 5 more gantries to ERP will not help to ease congestion to these areas or as what they claim "to encourage people to use public transport"

I bet the different.

Back in 2006/07, during the morning peak hours I am waiting at the bus stop from my home, wanting to go to Toa Payoh and guessed what? I waited from 8.30am to 9.10am but still unable to board any of the bus. It is fully packed. I gave up and went home, waited for another 15mins, made my way back to the bus stop and 5 mins later, a bus came...this time, finally I can board the bus.

Blessing of disguise, luckily I'm a SAHM who can afford the time to wait until the next available bus. Since then, I try not to take any bus ride during these peak hours. Imagine those working personals whom need to reach they office/work area at designated time? Who will come to their aid?

The situation of taking public transport during peak hours is already so bad then so how is the increase of more ERP gantries going to help? I think our local bus companies should look into to provide more buses during peak hours, not forgetting the MRT rides too, especially at time like this.

No point complainting about the increase of ERP, our people should ask our government to get our local public transport companies to increase the frequencies of buses and MRT rides if they sincerely want to encourage people to use public transport.

Chillie Plant

Sis gave me her chillie plant few weeks ago as her place has little sunlight for this darling plant. I took over and initially there are 3 chillies waiting to be harvested but 2 were stolen so now left one only. Since I am going out for the day and afraid that the same fate will befall on this little darling. I brought it in to safe guard.
